PENN Exec Confirms New Casino Games Launching Weekly in Ontario

PENN Entertainment is doubling down on the Ontario iGaming market by committing to the weekly release of new casino games across its platforms, according to Vice President Jason Birney. The move is part of a broader strategy to stay ahead in one of North America’s most competitive regulated digital markets.
Birney explained that the weekly cadence of game launches is aimed at keeping content fresh and engaging for a growing audience of Canadian players. “Ontario’s market is very responsive to innovation, and we’re tailoring our releases to match that appetite,” he said during a press event. The new games will include a mix of branded slots, exclusive titles, and live dealer experiences.
In addition to expanding its game library, PENN is reportedly investing in enhanced player analytics and personalized promotions to boost retention and conversion. The company also teased upcoming collaborations with third-party studios, promising “exciting content partnerships” later this year. Market watchers say PENN’s rapid-fire content release schedule is a direct response to rival operators such as BetMGM and DraftKings, who have also intensified efforts to capture market share.
