Reel Party Slot
How do gamblers celebrate New Years? Well, some enjoy spending time with friends or having a great party. Some go to party at work. Others go all the way to New Your to welcome New Year on the Times Square. Pretty much like any other people, as you can see. But there is one thing gamblers keep to themselves. It’s the Reel Party Slot by Rival. It’s where we, the regulars, come to spin and to celebrate.
The slot has a good-old classic structure: 5 reels and 15 lines of excitement. The betting and winning rules are quite standard as well. First, you choose the line or lines to stake on. Use the ‘Choose Line’ button for this. Then, you figure out the line bet. You may bet from one to five coins per line. The coin’s value varies from 0.01 to 1. So the total bet may go from as low as 0.01 to impressive 75 per spin. Suitable for the regular players as well as the VIP gamblers who wager big time. Then you take a spin. Spinning is done either manually, or in an automode. To simplify the betting calculations you may just go for a Bet Max feature. Hit the button and the betting would be done automatically on all possible lines with max coins but the coin value you have to choose in advance.
The winning combinations here, at Reel Party, start from three matching symbols on a line. Remember, as the wins are paid left to right, the first symbol of a combo has to land on the first reel. The regular symbols here, are connected to the party and New Year’s celebration. A Cab and Wine Glasses are worth 65 times your line bet for the set of five. Some Beer glasses and Crossed Trumpets are worth 100 times the bet for five. A tile with some Munchies on it is worth more: 150x bet for five. The rest of the symbols are paid more. Red-haired Woman icon in a combination of five is paid 350 times the bet. A tile with a Man drinking wine is worth 30x the line wager for five. The most expensive icon of the slot is a Party Hat. The combination of five is worth 400 times the line wager.
Apart from the regular paysymbols there are several special feature icons. The Wild is a tile with a Baby wearing a winning sash. As usual, it’s a replacement symbol. It helps to form a winning combination substituting pretty much any other symbol. But the Wild is not only a substitute, it’s also a paysymbol. The combination of two wilds is paid 10 times the bet. For five wilds you get a 5,000x bet payout.
The Father Time icon is a scatter. For three, you will be granted 10 free spins. For as many as four, you will have 20 spins free of charge. While for the five of a kind, there will be 100 spins on the house.
Another Scatter is a Bonus icon. It’s a Bottle of Champaign. To trigger the bonus round you have to hit at east three of those on the reels. The bonus game is pretty simple and straightforward. You will be given to choose between 12 Champaign bottles. You have three attempts so better choose wisely! The bonus points you win will be added onto your slot account.
The last scatter is the Jackpot icon. There is a tile featuring the NY dropping ball. It has some awesome payouts. For the set of two it’s 5x the total bet. Five Jackpot icons on the reels mean your total win gets multiplied 500 times.
Reel Party is loaded with special features and other niceties. All of those are easily triggered. You probably won't have to wait long to hit the bonus round. We didn’t. The gameplay is standard for Rival: many extras and plain regular mode. It’s not the outstanding graphic design or some incredible soundtrack we expect to see in a Rival slot. There is no incidental animation at all. But on the whole, the slot is nice. Wins may be impressive. The Bonus round is way too plain, but we’ve seen worse. So, you would enjoy the time spent spinning Reel Party, if you won’t expect much. It’s a classic five-reeler with fifteen paylines so treat it accordingly!
