Overview

For all the fans and admirers of the bank robbery slot, here comes the new one. Rival’s heist sequel is all about fine art and elegant high-class stealing. No rough gangster job as in the first episode. Here, you find yourself in the fine city of Paris. Where else could one possible steal a painting if not there? After all, it’s like the world’s capital of fine arts and luxury.

Here, you will join Remy and Raoul Mouchard, two art thieves in search of the painting to make money off. Thieves’ job is not an easy one. There is a strict plan you have to follow so everything would go right. Each stage of the plan is a separate game round in the slot. In order to proceed to the next stage, you have to accomplish the goal for the current one. Sounds a bit tricky but there is a map, where your progress is outlined. So just check the map to see what you have already done and what is still waiting for you.

The first round is for planning. Here, your goal is to choose a masterpiece you would be after. The second is a tool-picking round. It‘s common knowledge that thieves have to have the top of the notch equipment. After all, stealing from a highly protected art gallery or museum is not a walk in the woods. Third round is for the getaway. Elude the police and flee with the zillion-bucks painting in your hands. The next round is all about making the money off art. Now you need to sell the thing. Thus, you need to find some unscrupulous art connoisseur who would not ask any questions. The last round is once again the getaway episode. Now you have to avoid being caught by the Gendarmes when you sell the picture.

How do you get from one stage to another? As a rule, to proceed to the higher game level, you have to land at least four spacial scatter symbols on the reels. At the first round, it’s a Masterpiece icon. The Masterpiece icon looks like any other symbol with a painting, but its background is purple. To check your gameplay progress, look at the map. Hit an icon in the top left corner of the screen. For the payouts and paysymbols, have a look at the paytable. Its icon is in the top right corner of the reel-screen. But mind, the paytable applies to the current game round only. In the next round it will change.

But what doesn’t change is the extra bonus features. The slot comes with a random Robin Hood Bonus Round. It may be triggered any moment during the play. But you have to bet full lines and coins. If the odds are in your favor you may win up to 1,000 coins worth Mona Lisa Bonus Win.

So, lets take a look at the betting and the payouts. At least for the first round. The regular paysymbols here are icons with some famous paintings on them. They are animated and cartoonish. The combination of five will be worth 100 you line wager. There are two more paintings, with some naked dudes on them. They also look like they belong at the comic book but thanks lord not animated. They are worth 500 times your line bet for the set of five.

As for the scatter icons, there are plenty of them over here, and they differ in different rounds. At the first stage, there are three masterpiece icons: paintings against the purple background. Four of those trigger the new round, but they also come with payouts. For the set of three, your bet gets multiplied 10 times. Hit as many as five, at the wager will be multiplied 100 times. The first round bonus scatted is an icon with the slot’s logo on it. To initiate the bonus mode you need at least three of those on the reels. The Mona Lisa icon is a regular icon but with a perk. For the rest of the symbols, you need to match at least three to win. With Mona Lisa two icons would suffice. For the two, your stake gets doubled, for the five of a kind it will be multiplied 100 times. The wild is also here. No slot can do without a substitute nowadays. At the first round the wild is the Forger icon. It substitutes any symbol, but another scatter to form a winning combination. It also comes with a doubling multiplier.

So, how to bet and win? First, make up your mind on the lines and the line bet. Choose any of the fifteen available lines, using the Choose lines button. You may wager from one to five coins per line, the coins maybe worth from 0.01 to 1. So the total bet entry point for the slot will be 0.01, while the tops will be 75 per spin. Pretty impressive range, we think. After you have set the lines and the bets, take a spin. It may be done manually or in the Auto mode. If you hit a combination of matching symbols on the line, you line wager will get multiplied by the corresponding multiplier. But the sequence has to start on the first reel. If you hit a win with a scatter, then it doesn’t matter where the combo starts as those are paid both ways.

The slot has an intricate gameplay. Each of the rounds comes with its own unique bonus feature, and the one-of-a-kind scatter icon. At the first round, when you have to select a picture to steal, there is an interactive pick-me game. You will have to choose between several boxes to find the one with a painting in it. It should be not just an ordinary thing, but a real masterpiece. Here, you won’t be awarded any bonus points. Instead, your win will be reduced with every empty box you eliminate. The game goes on until you run out of money or until you hit your masterpiece box. The round’s Scatter is the symbol signed Art Heist. To initiate the bonus game, land three or more of those on the reels.

At the next stage of the game, when you pick the tools for your crime, the bonus scatter symbol is a Thief icon. The rule is the same as before: hit three or more anywhere on the reels to start the bonus round. Here you would have to get yourself a tool bag. Match all the tools you need to accomplish your task. At the second round there is one more perk worth mentioning, it’s a free spins symbol. It is an icon with a police officer on it. If you land three or more you will be granted ten spins on the house. At the free spin mode, all the wins get tripled.

The third round is a getaway. You have to avoid being caught by the local police. It’s going to be a tough run. Land three or more Raoul and Remy’s Car symbols to get ahead of the police car. But if you land three or more Police Car icons, the police will catch up with you. To keep track of the chase, look at the top of the reel screen. There are to meters: one for the police and the other one for your getaway car. At this round the Jailbar icon is a scatter. Hit three to get yourself five spins free of charge. Another free spin scatter here is a Gendarme icon. If you land at least three on the reels, you will get as many as ten free spins with a 3x multiplier.

The fourth round is all about founding a buyer for the work of art you had stolen. Bonus scatter of the round is the Art Heist logo icon. Pick-me bonus game is triggered if you land three of those on the reels. The goal of the round is to pick forgeries among several works of art. Pick three fake paintings and the round is over. And the last bonus round for the fifth game episode is all about getting away with you money. If you are lucky enough you will get away to Jamaica. If not, the jail cell is waiting for you. Here you have to spin for your freedom.

So, the fans of elaborate gameplay Rival i-Slots rejoice. You have one more slot to spin. Art Heist maybe even more complicated that its predecessor. More rounds, different icons for each round, specific extra bonus features. If you think you have seen it all, then think again. Or better, take a spin and see how it goes for you. We found it pretty addictive and competitive. Weird for a slot, but this way it’s more fun.
