Overview

In the age of elaborate video slots, Heroes Realm brought to us by Rival Gaming seems a little weird. It has only one line and three reels. But nevertheless it is truly epic. The slot is all about war. Here you would have to face the army of evil skeletons to defend your kingdom. All the paysymbols of the slot are war-related, basically it’s a bunch of arms. Remember, the goal is to protect your kingdom against the army of invaders so the idea to equip yourself seems like a good one.

Before starting to speak about the winning combinations, just a few words in general on how they are paid. As in any other regular slot machine the wins are multiplied by the number of coins staked per line. Even though there is only one line in Heroes Realm, you may stake from one to three coins of different value on it. The coin may be worth anywhere from 0.01 to 10. So the final payout depends on the line wager. In here all the examples are given for the one coin only stakes. If you stake the maximum number of coins per line, multiply the numbers here by three. And now, let’s figure the winning combinations and what they are worth.

First paysymbol is the Sword. For the combination of three, your line bet will be multiplied 40 times. The three Shields combination multiplies your stake 30 times. Three Morning star maces will multiply your original wager 15 times. Three Mead Flasks will multiply your line stake 5 times. A combination of a Shield, a Sword and a Flask will make you line stake 8 times grander. All those are relatively low paid symbols, but there are symbols that are worth more. Take the Chest. A combination of three chests multiplies the stake wager 100 times, two Chests triple the original stake. Even if you land just one Chest, your stake will be multiplied though only one time. So, you won’t lose the spin bet. Three Maces will multiply your line wager 75 times. A three Poleaxe combination will multiply your stake 750 times. A combination of two Poleaxes will make your stake 60 times higher. Do not forget that to win you would have to land the winning combination on the reels starting consecutively from the leftmost one. All the wins are paid in one direction only: from left to right.

Apart from the regular paysymbols there are two special ones. The Skull is a Bonus Round symbol. You have to hit three of those to initiate it. The Bonus round is an interactive game, where you would have to fight against the army of skeletons. The better you do the more bonus points will be added to your account. There is also an icon with crossed Daggers. It is a Free Spin Scatter. For the three you will be granted 50 and for the two 10 spins free of charge.

The slot interface is stripped of all the excesses and as simple as the slot itself. There are buttons for choosing the value and the number of coins. You may also choose between the two available spinning modes. Here, you may spin manually, when you have to hit the spin button every time you want a spin. But there is also an Auto mode. Hit it, and the spinning will go on without a stop until you change your mind or run out of money whichever comes first. If you get confused with the rules or would like to recall some winning combinations, hit the Paytable button at the top right or left corners of the screen.

Feeling retro? Want a little stroll down the memory lane to recall good old times of one-armed bandits with max three reels and one line? Have a go at the Heroes Realm. Mixing traditional if not old-fashioned design with superb graphic works surprisingly well. The simplicity of the play combined with the war theme turns out to be extremely enjoyable and even relaxing. So, give it a spin and see for yourself.
